Hasegawa Engineering has completed successful projects for a variety of clients including municipalities, governments, oil companies, contractors, and developers.
Our personnel have a strong understanding of fundamental design principles and have extensive experience implementing traditional and innovative engineering solutions. Hasegawa Engineering always places customer service, quality, and value first in the completion of every project. Quality is achieved through careful thought and design during the planning and engineering phase. Hasegawa Engineering employs the latest technological tools including EPA SWMM, EPA NET, AutoCAD 2019, Civil3D, REVIT, Microsoft Project, Visual Modflow, and state of the art GPS surveying systems.

The personnel at the firm have over 100 years of combined engineering, drafting and design experience. Mark Hasegawa
Mr. Hasegawa’s experience encompasses a wide range of services relevant to Process and building design projects including: project management of numerous oil field based building projects, conceptual design of infrastructure, detailed design of servicing, construction contract preparation, tendering, and administration, and on‐site construction management and certification. Mr. Hasegawa also possesses substantial knowledge and experience related to project management and coordination of personnel related to design projects throughout the Northwest Territories and Alberta.

Drafting Services/Engineering Technician
Mike Oler
Mr. Oler has 15 years design / drafting experience including 12 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. He is proficient in working in the CAD environment to prepare plans, profiles, and details for civil and environmental engineering projects. He also has experience with environmental disciplines such as Phase 1 & 2 Environmental Site Assessments and design and implementation of wastewater systems for various Hutterite colonies. Environmental work includes onsite sampling, and preparation of reports for submittal to Alberta Environment, PTMAA, and other regulatory bodies. Project management experience to meet client needs and municipal and government requirements to ensure project deadlines are met and client expectations are achieved.
Mr. Oler is proficient in AutoCad Civil 3D, Revit 2019, SketchUp 2018 and Microsoft Office.

Jeri Heggie
Mrs. Heggie has 11 years design / drafting experience. She specializes in architectural and structural design and detailing as well as building code analysis. She also has experience with the National Building Energy Code and analyzing buildings to confirm their thermal efficiency. She has assisted with the 3D steel design and detailing for a two-story law office and a lentil processing plant with a 100-foot-tall structure that included catwalks, stairs, and platforms.
Mrs. Heggie has managed multiple projects including a government lab, grocery store, dental offices, and churches. She has played a key role with ensuring the drawings, designs, and equipment have adhered to contract specifications and standards for each project. She frequently coordinates projects and acts as liaison between clients, contractors and vendors.
Mrs. Heggie is proficient in AutoCad 2019, Revit 2019 (certified in Revit Structure 2019), SketchUp 2018 and Microsoft Office.
